My Story

I started wearing hijab as of Ramadan of 2022. I was thinking about wearing it since 2020, when my parents and my sister were blessed to go for Umrah upon their return Allah made this journey easier for me Alhumdullah.

The struggle was still there, it was quite challenging to find the right hijab which was comfortable, professional and made me feel confident. There is not a lot of variety of Hijabs/ modest wear in my city.

While traveling to Toronto a couple of times, the first thing in my bucket list was to shop for hijabs while visiting my favorite stores like “I love Modesty”. I was inspired to provide somewhat similar opportunities online within my city for all the Muslim sisters who are struggling like me to shop for the right hijabs and modest wear.

It took me months to come up with the collection of hijabs you see in our website since I wanted to consider the comfort and confidence of all sisters who are students, professionals & busy working moms.

I have just started this small business Alhumduallah, with your support and feedback inshallah we will take it to the next level where we will have one stop shop for all your modest wear inshallah!

  • Our Name Significance (Modest Fashionn)

    Choosing the right name was one of the most challenging aspects for us, I wanted to choose a name which has a unique meaning. I had a couple names in my list and we decided on choosing a name which would include the word “Modesty” in it. Which is coming from the word modest (Haya) .The Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has said: “undoubtedly modesty and faith are connected together.”
